Safety Matches
Trinidad Match Ltd (TML) manufacturers and
distributes three main brands of safety matches; Three Plumes,
Masters Army & Navy, and Swinger. All three brands are
manufactured in two sizes regular and household. The regular box
contains approximately 40 matchsticks and the household
approximately 270.
The configurations are as follows:

Each
match box contains 40 match splints. |

Pack: |
10 of
the match boxes are polypropylene wrapped to form a
pack. |

Sleeve: |
10 of
the packs are shrunk wrapped in plastic to form a
sleeve. |

Case: |
10 of
the sleeves are placed in a cardboard box to form a
case; each case will therefore contain 1000 boxes of
safety matches. |
270-Count Box
|
Box: |
Each
match box contains 270 match sticks. This box size
is especially made for kitchen use and around the
household. |

Sleeve: |
10 boxes
are plastic wrapped to form a sleeve. |

Case: |
10
sleeves are placed in a cardboard box to form a
case. Each case will therefore contain 100 boxes of
safety matches. |
